A:AnswerUnlike the seagate external hard drives in the past, these new ones take power through a single USB cable. They are extremely light unlike the older ones from years ago. They will work on USB 3.0 or 2.0. I use them on 3.0 and the driver loads automatically in seconds. They are great. I have 3 of them but just with one terabyte each.

A:AnswerHard drives are used for storage, like games, music, and pictures. When you download and install a game, it's saved on storage. Memory (like RAM) is used for the current game or program you're currently running. I don't think the Xbox supports external memory. If you plug in a memory stick, it would use it as storage.
When you turn off your Xbox, you lose what's in memory, but your storage remains intact.
A:AnswerIf you go to the Seagate website there is a driver for NTFS for Mac that you can download, and I believe have both Macs and PCs use it at the same time. I haven't tested this yet, but it seems a better option than having to completely reformat the disk using the Mac OS utilities program on your computer. There are also disk utilities software you can download to Seagate hard drives. Hope this helps. Check it out....
