QuestionAre you able to store and play ps5 games similar to the ps4 hardrive. Was this made for the ps5 or was this a ps4 hard drive that can work on the ps5.

- Answer PS5 games can only be played off of internal memory, including an M.2 upgrade. External drives can store PS5 games, but will need to be transferred to internal memory to play, though PS4 games can be played directly off the drive. It's not really PS4 versus PS5, as it will do the same job on both. PS5 games are just not designed to be played off of an external drive.

- Answer All you need to do is connect to your Mac/PC andc format the HD at the first use.

- Answer Usually not too long, I transferred 7 or so high volume games in under 20 minutes, but it’s important to know you cannot store PS5 games on this external, only ps4 crossover games.

- Answer Your going to have to transfer it back to back with PS5. Cannot play from the drive itself. You CAN PLAY with PS4 games from the drive.

- Answer I think this is how it works. You can store PS5 games on it, but you cannot play PS5 games from it. But you can play PS4 games from it on your PS5.
