• A:Answer Yes, but it has an annoying habit of being noisy and wakes up every 20 minutes, beeps, spins up, and slows down your system while doing it. I have not been able to get it from entering sleep mode. Total space is 10.3 Gigs formatted to Windows specs. Also if it's 7200 RPM like the specs, it's a SLOW 7200 RPM. It does have a somewhat fast transfer speed for a mechanical drive. Do not use it for video though as I said its slow.

• A:Answer I talked to Seagate support about this. They said its just a slight difference in the weight of the drives. Otherwise they should be the same.
