Q: QuestionHow to setup separate subwoofer? Manual says put the cross-frequency to max on subwoofer - Does that seem right? I thought cross-frequency should be between 50-80hz and then calibrate?

• A:Answer The AMBEO's calibration will handle setting the crossover automatically. Put the sub at max so that you don't artificially limit its participation.

Q: QuestionWhy is my Sennheiser ambeo soundbar not so loud with music or are all of them this way? When I use Amazon music via.bluetooth and echo dot it isn't as loud as through my LG OLED CX TV and Amazon music but either way it doesn't seem to loud to me.

Q: QuestionHi: Interested in the Sennheiser Ambeo soundbar. 1) Do you know the Xfinity XR11 or XR15 remote codes to control the volume and power for the Ambeo ? They are not documented. 2) Is the Ambeo earc HDMI out compatible with my old TV’s non-earc HDMI in?

• A:Answer I'm running the Soundbar using my old Samsung Q8FN via it's ARC only, no eARC on my TV. I run my Blu ray player and Roku box directly into the Soundbar inputs which does the decoding.

• A:Answer Yes. It will depend on the method of streaming you are using and if your tv has an optical out. If you are using your tv by itself (no streaming stick) then optical out to optical in on the soundbar. If you are using a streaming stick (Roku or Fire stick) then just connect the device directly into the soundbar (this is how I run mine) and set the sound bar to the input you plugged your stick into.

Q: QuestionI just purchased a LG OLED CX and I was wondering if this can be hooked up to i via earc and output all the high-end Dolby sounds?

• A:Answer Yes the LG CX can connect via eARC to the AMBEO and output Dolby Digital, Digital Plus, True HD, and Atmos along with other formats. Be sure to use the designated eArc HDMI ports on the AMBEO and CX with the HDMI included with the AMBEO (or HDMI 2.1 eARC capable cord if you need to purchase a longer length). The CX remote can also control the AMBEO power and volume via eARC but the AMBEO app or remote will be required to switch between preset sound profiles (movie, music, sports, news, etc).
