• A:Answer Dyson is horrible. Doesn’t pick up a lot of things bigger than a very small crumb. It pushes it forward because the head is so low to the ground. Hard to push. No lights. You need to lift it to go from hard flooring to carpet or area rug.

• A:Answer For me, it’s a little difficult to push and pull on thicker rugs and carpets. I have 2 thick piled rugs that I couldn’t push and pull well with my decade old shark. The Stratos has a height adjustment for thick pile, but as a said in my review, I wish they had made a 4th height adjustment of at least an eighth to a quarter of an inch higher. I am able to push through (pulling was a lot easier). The dirt fluffs that came up were shocking and well worth the purchase.

Quickly check the connections between your wand, pod, handle, hose, and nozzle, making sure they click when you connect them. Additionally, make sure that where the hose connects to the pod, the silver bar between the arrows disappears.

Q: QuestionIs the Shark Stratos upright vacuum with the power brush roll safe for hardwood floors? Does it glide along the hardwoods with no worry of scratching the hardwoods including floating engineered hardwood?
