• A:Answer This question that was answered regarding the ventilation post about two hours of investigation between calling Best Buy and everything else. You do not need to purchase a ventilation kit with this microwave. It ventilates from the bottom left side of the microwave. It is already built in. Just make sure the bottom isn’t covered and if you see steam coming out the bottom left side that is you’re naturally built in ventilation.

Q: QuestionCan I order this microwave in their 24" model

• A:Answer Yes. It is essentially the same unit with a different drawer mechanism and display area as the 30" I purchased. How do I know this? We accidentally got the 24 first and returned it for the 30 since we had the location picked out in the 30-inch cabinet. So, I have seen both at it's really just up to you as to the size you need within your kitchen.

• A:Answer The controls are on a flip-out panel. It is easy to see while standing up. You do not have to squat down to see them. I do like this feature of this oven.

Q: QuestionWe have the previous version of the Sharp 30" Built-in Microwave Drawer unit Model KB6025MS. Will this newer unit Model #SMD3070ASY fit under the counter? It looks like this unit is a little taller, 15 7/8 Inch versus 15 13/32 Inch.

• A:Answer After removing the 4 screws the microwave slid out very easy. the new one slid right in with no problems. It fit just as good as the previous one. I was told by a repair man as long as it was a 30" there would be no problem replacing it.
