- Answer You do not need a bridge. Every light connects to your wifi and Google Home on your phone detects them.

- Answer You can do that by setting up a 'routine' in Google Home. I have a bedroom light turn on 5:50 AM Monday through Friday for example.

QuestionDoes the bulb connect via bluetooth or wifi? Can I put the hub upstairs and the bulb downstairs? Pretty far distance.

- Answer It connects via Bluetooth 4.0 between the Mini and the bulb. Also, each hub can only pair with 5 bulbs (but if you have multiple hubs, each can pair with 5 so I have 20 bulbs with my 4 hubs). In my case each hub is in the same room as the bulbs so distance is within 50 feet... Bluetooth 4.0 is more reliable for me than my Wi-Fi bulbs (Lifx) and lowers the number of router connections too... Very happy with these Bluetooth 4.0 bulbs.
