The in-wall and in-ceiling speakers require a wired connection back to the amplifier. The subwoofer is wireless; however, it's a powered subwoofer and needs to be plugged into A minimum 15 amp (20 amp preferred) grounded wall outlet. I hope you found this information helpful. Thanks for your question. The Sonance MAG5.1 Premium system is designed to be used as a single 5.1 surround sound setup for home theater applications. The system is not intended to be split across multiple zones or used with multiple speakers per zone.
If your goal is to create a multi-zone whole-home music system, a better approach is to use standard in-ceiling or in-wall speakers paired with a dedicated multi-channel amplifier. For example, we offer the Sonance MAG6R 6-1/2” in-ceiling speakers as a standalone pair, as well as the Sonance VX62 in-wall speakers (pair). Both are excellent options for multi-zone audio. These speakers can be powered by a whole-home amplifier such as the Sonance 8-50 or Sonance 16-50 multi-channel amplifiers, depending on how many zones you’d like to run.

Thanks for your question! For the Sonance MAG5.1 Premium, you'll want to run 16-gauge speaker wire at a minimum. If your wire run is over 20 feet, you may want to consider running 14-gauge. Also, be sure to use in-wall rated speaker wire to comply with building codes and ensure safe installation.
