- Answer Sonos port has a line-in input. You can use that receiver as a source, to stream to multiple speakers. Make sure your receiver has a line-out output, the Sonos port is not made for speaker level input.

QuestionWhen bluetoothing from my Iphone into the port will the port help increase the volume? I'm currently Bluetooth from phone into the Sonance 125 amp out to a 8 speaker Sonance garden series system and don't feel I'm getting good volume or bass?

- Answer Thanks for your question. The Sonos Port does not use Bluetooth. It will connect to your home's Wifi and stream content using Wifi from the internet or from your device. As for volume, The Port would have its own volume control, but your Sonance 125 amp does have individual control on the rear of the unit. You may want to check to see if that control is set to the proper level.

- Answer Thanks for the question. Sonos Port does not have bluetooth. You could line in if your speaker has auxiliary ports or analog on the back.

- Answer To answer your questions: 1) Yes. You will assign separate room/names to each port at set up; however, in the app you choose one room and the option to group other rooms/devices appears. You simply choose the other port , room, speaker you want to play the same music. 2). Yes. If you are playing music on one port someone else with the app linked to your system can play music on another port, speaker, etc..

- Answer The stream would be coming from your phone, and going to the Port. So a spotty wifi connection could cause issues.

- Answer Hi, and thank you for your question. You can see if your Connect qualifies for an upgrade by logging into your Sonos account and looking at your registered speakers. If it qualifies for trade up, then it will say so in the description.

- Answer Yeah depends on what you want. Port is nice just as a "line in" for the turntable to send it to other speakers around the home. If you're wanting to listen in that room where the turntable is Amp is nice with a pair of speakers. You can also line into a Sonos Five with a 3.5mm jack. Most turntable do require a preamp. Especially older ones. Some of the newer ones have them built in. It's really a case by base scenario.

- Answer I believe what you want and are attempting to do is correct - Yes - you'll want and need the SONOS Port Streaming Media Player - as long as the AMP / Receiver you run the SONOS PORT through gives you the ability to choose the ZONES ( Zone 1 / Zone 2 / Zone 1 + 2 ) you actually want accepting the music stream.

- Answer The Sonos amp does not have an LFE output, dedicated for active (separately powered) subs. But that’s okay because most any ‘passive’ sub will have speaker-level Ins/outs, so that’s what you’ll use. Wire the sub in between your Sonos Amp and your speakers.

- Answer Hi, and thank you for reaching out with a question. The Port would could do both input and output but not at the same time. You could run from this via RCA to the analog in on the Port and play music to other Sonos speakers by grouping them together. You could plug Port into it via Port's analog or digital out and play your music via Sonos to your Crosley system. (This would be ideal for music quality as you'd be steaming via wifi instead of bluetooth)
