• Check the manual, but standard speakers of 4 and 8 ohms shouldn't be a problem for this receiver unless you are really going to crank it loud for extended periods, and I mean really really loud.

• Yes, I do aND most house speakers are 8 ohms

• Yes, the back panel of the receiver says you can connect through 16 Ohms.
