QuestionDoes the sub have to be right next to the bar or can I put it by the couch. I'm trying to understand the wireless part. I though I could put it anywhere and it would work.

- Answer While the range isn't infinite, the two do not have to be within close proximity of each other. The bar itself contains a dedicated Bluetooth channel just for the subwoofer, and only turns itself on or off when the bar itself is turned on or off.

- Answer 15 inches front to back, 15 inches top to bottom, i'm guessing around 12 pounds weight. Sub and treble separate sound adjustments. Its powerful.

QuestionWall mounting brackets don't match wall studsThe brackets for mounting to the wall are spaced 34.25 inches apart, whereas standard stud spacing would be 32 inches. What is the best workaround for this. I do not have dry wall, just thin paneling on 2X4 studs.

- Answer Don't worry about using studs for something this light. There are a variety of hollow wall anchors that could work. I suppose if you could put one end in a stud, that might give you more peace of mind. If you cant find a hollow wall anchor (like for mounting on doors, for instance), a toggle bolt might be your next best option, but may require a bigger hole.

- Answer If your Tivo remote can be programmed, it should be able to control it. I was able to get my Charter remote to control my sound bar for muting and volume.

- Answer I am not sure it does - at least mine didn't and I bought it about a month ago. Not that I mind, I didn't need it anyway. I am using my X-box one as my bluray player.

- Answer This would depend on your receiver's outputs. If your receiver has an output that connects properly to the inputs of the soundbar, then you should be fine. However, most receivers have analog outputs when it comes to the sound.

QuestionDoes everyone's soundbar always start on the "tv" input?I bought this soundbar from Best Buy a few days ago and everytime I start it up, it starts on the tv input. I watch cable on this 90% of the time and it's hooked up to "hdmi 1". I just need to know if this is normal or do I have a defective unit. Otherwise, the sound is phenomenal.

- Answer Mine seems to start at the last place before turning off. It may take a minute or so to come on (we have an old TV) but picks up on the last location used.

- Answer No, you do not need a receiver for the soundbar. You can connect your TV directly to the unit by HDMI or optical cable. The ARC/HDMI input is highly recommended so that your unit can sync with your TV. Thanks!

Questionsound delay normal?I have the ht-ct780 sound bar and woofer and it works great. connected to my tv via hdmi cable so I can control it with my tv remote. The only problem is when you turn on the tv,it takes about 15 seconds before the sound comes on(sound bar turns on).Is this normal? If not ,how do I correct it?

- Answer If you use a programmable remote, and it turns on each device sequentially, a short wait is normal. My remote turns on my cable box first, TV second, and sound bar third. I didn't set it up to do that order, but that's what happens.

QuestionWhen 4k content becomes available, if my soundbar isn't HDCP2.2, will I not be able to watch the program at all, or just not in 4K quality?Does the HDCP2.2 compatibility only pertain to TV shows or DVDs with 4K content? So, for example, if a TV station airs a movie in 4k content, it cannot be watched unless your components are all HDCP2.2 compatible? Or, can it be watched in regular 1080 or regular HD? It is very unclear as to whether the station will be completely unwatchable. The 4K content is not important to me, unless the TV station airing in 4K is not watchable at all.

- Answer Hi ljlt, HDCP 2.2 pertains to copyright-protected contents. To view copyright-protected 4K content, connect the devices via an HDCP 2.2 compatible HDMI jack on each end. Copyright-protected 4K content can be viewed only by a connection via HDCP 2.2-compatible HDMI jacks. You can watch any program as long as it doesn't have copyright-protection. Thanks, >Joffrey

- Answer No, this soundbar does not have IR pass through. However, because you plug all other periferals (BluRay, Apple TV, etc.) directly into the soundbar's 3 x HDMI inputs, you will use the sound bar's remote to switch inputs vice the TV's inputs.
