Questionwork with 20W speakersI have some old large speakers that have a rated input power of 20W and max input power of 40W. Will these work with the stereo receiver?

- Answer That receiver is rated at 100w per channel. Your speakers only handle 40w max. Technically the receiver would run your speakers, but I would worry that the volume may get turned up too high and blow the speakers eventually.

QuestionI already read all the manuals carefully, but didn't find anything about displaying RDS-text, ie performer and title of music pieces playing on a RDS-capable radio station. Is it possible this RDS-receiver can't display such an information? Thanks!

If your TV box supports an RCA connection, you can directly connect it to this receiver along with your speakers. QuestionI purchased Polk Audio RC60i Speakers Is this receiver compatible with my computer through the portable in plug and will it allow me to hear the music at a decent volume? When i hook up my computer directly to the speakers it works but its VERY low.

QuestionI bought this unit hoping to use it in my den with a tape player/recorder, CD player/recorder, and turntable. I don't see anything on the back for Tape player or turntable. How and can I hook these up to the unit?

- Answer You can use any of the inputs for those purposes. Just plug in the red and white RCA cables and select whatever they are labeled to play whatever is plugged into that input.

QuestionWill my old 3 ohm/18 watt speakers work with it or get ruined?I have speakers from an old Philips/Magnavox FW45C3 that are rated for 3 ohms/18 watts. Will this receiver blow them up or will they work fine?

- Answer no, I wouldn't chance it . This receiver is rated for 8 ohm speakers. My advice to you is to buy speakers that can handle at least 130 watts and 8 ohms , most receivers are rated for 8 ohm speakers.

Questionturntable connectionsI have a Technics (I believe it is; about 3 years old) at my cabin. My old AM/FM tuner/amplifier has mostly died. It will still play the records. I would like to find a replacement, but also one that plays CDs or to which you could connect a free standing CD player. Will this Stereo Receiver do that?

- Answer Yes this receiver has a portable input function. Which means if you CD player has a headphone plug on it.. It will work on the potable function. Also works with mp3,cellphone you get the picture. So yes it will work, the receiver also has rca plugs in the back to plug in you turn table, CD player, DVD, . it is great

QuestionFrequency range?Anyone know what the frequency range is for this unit? Really wanting to know how low it will reproduce the low frequencys, for instance I have a sub that says it will reproduce from 25hz to 180hz, but most receivers are only rated at around 40hz on the low side.
