QuestionIs this compatible with a Sony A7?

- Answer If you put this 20mm F/2.8 APS-C (i.e., crop mode lens) on the A7iii (24 Mpixel full frame camera) it will automatically select crop mode for you and work, but it will then be equivalent to 30mm F/4 and take 10 Mpixel photos due to the crop factor. (I own the A7iii and tried this out.) Note that with the A7Riii 42MP camera, it would still crop to 18MP.

- Answer For real estate photography, you may want to go with the 10-18mm lens. The 20mm won’t give you a wide enough angle.

- Answer Hi camera321, the lens is compatible with the a7iii and yes it will produce distortion when the lens is placed near the subject in close proximity. If you would like a more extreme distortion, a wider lens focal length lens like 10-18mm will be more effective.
