A:Answer Hi. This lens, due to its large aperture, is ideal for night photos (or in low light). For photos with humans, at least to my liking, I prefer a lens with more variants of depth that allows me to clearly take out the human and the surrounding landscape (like the one that comes with the kit). With this lens you will be able to take out the human with the unfocused background, which is a very nice effect but does not rescue the landscape. If you want something with more clarity, take pictures of humans + the landscape that surrounds it, without complicating your life, you can go for a lens with the same characteristics as the Kit but, for example, a Carl Zeiss.
