You can still receive standard HD broadcasts with an antenna, but for NextGen features (like 4K over-the-air), you would need an external converter box.   • Questioni have Xfinity Comcast . I'm replacing my 20 year old Samsung tv which is hooked up to my cable box via an Ethernet cable. Can I hook this Sony Bravia 2 to cable box via Ethernet cable also?

    • Answer Hi Ivyappletree, While you can use an Ethernet cable to provide the TV with internet for streaming apps, it cannot be used to transmit the video signal from your Xfinity box to the TV.
