- Answer Hi JQ. We always recommend using the factory setting on the tv. Since it is subjective, you can always adjust the picture settings on the TV's menu based on your own preference. Upscaling works automatically, the tv will enhance the resolution of the picture you are watching, and this TV can do that very well. Best regards, -Mark

QuestionI just purchased this TV and it was between the Samsung KS8000 and this one. For the life of me can not get the picture to look even as good as my old Samsung. Does anyone have any advice for settings?? Is it as simple as setting or even a better HDMI?

- Answer A better picture is going to depend on a few variables. Get a good HDMI, a good surge protector with power filtration, and consider a calibration through Geek Squad, it's $350.

- Answer Look in the Setting for Apps or the click the Home key on the remote. Go to the list of built in apps and at the far right you should see "Offers for You" or something to that. Click into it with the remote and it will walk you through the process. My offer was for $120 which consist of 4 Sony 4K movies in the Ultra app.
