  • QuestionNetflix app is crashing back to Home Screen. When I select a movie it will play for about 10 min. and then goes back to Home Screen. After doing this 4 to 5 times it stops crashing. No problem with the internet or other apps. What's the fix for this?

  • QuestionReading the non-answer below about the motion. Reports from many users about the stutter that is worse than any model from the previous years, is there a firmware update that can fix the motion issues of the A90J ? People telling me it's a stuttery mess.

    • Answer I’ve only had my A90J for 2 weeks now. I haven’t noticed the judder-motion problem yet. Ask me again in another week or so. Your excessive judder is probably fixable in the advanced picture settings. So far, I have been very satisfied with the nearly flawless video on it. This is me 2nd OLED, and it was a very expensive purchase. My first OLED by LG was also pretty much flawless, for the first 3 years. I watched to Much 24 hr news channels (CNN) and slowly induced image retention and some BURN-IN, so if you want your beautiful TV DISPLAY to last 10+ years or more, vary your usage and turn the TV display OFF when not watching. I was led to believe that this TV picture could be muted (audio only) by pressing the DISPLAY button. It is a little more involved. At any rate, this OLED model is new XR chip driven. I believe that SONY USA help techs are still in the “learning mode” with the A90J, SO BE PERSISTENT as well as patient with them. Hope this helps in some small way for you.

  • QuestionDoes this TV pass-through Dolby Atmos? I currently own an LG C8 and would like to upgrade to this SONY or the LG G1. Dolby Vision and Atmos are must haves since I'm strictly an Apple TV user. Thanks!

You can connect your soundbar to the HDMI input terminal bearing the text “ARC” or “eARC/ARC.   • QuestionDoes Sony's "Acoustic Surface Audio+" immersive sound feature work when the TV is being used as a center channel in a 5.1 or 7.1 system? Or do you only get the full effect when using the TV audio by itself.

    • Answer Hi Athens007, Thank you for the inquiry. In Center Speaker Mode the TV will use all the same speakers as Acoustic Surface Audio+. But it will only be receiving the dedicated center channel signal from the 5.1 or 7.1 source while in center speaker mode. I hope this helps! Jay

If I am willing to break the bank to have the Godzilla of TV's (the Best of The Best) then the Sonos ARC is whats needed as a perfect match for this TV. I am already waiting for BestBuy to deliver on 4/13/21 *Yes*

  • QuestionI just bought a 65" Bravia XRA 90J TV.......Is there a way of connecting a subwoofer, either active or passive to this set? I do not want to add a sound bar, but want to use the external subwoofer to complement the existing sound from the TV itself.

    • Answer My answer will probably be inconclusive. There is quite a variety of apps available through Sony Select. We are in Xfinity country so Peacock is one of the Apps available. Someone with Spectrum will have to weigh in to tell you if the Peacock choice changes if you have Spectrum cable.

  • QuestionDoes this Sony model support a BOSE sound bar system ?

    • Answer Absolutely, it has the eArc/120hz all that good stuff. Just my opinion, I recently got rid of my bose sound bar 900, bass 700, and surround jewel 700 speakers. I was having so many issues with that platform. I did a total switch around and went to hard wire. There is no compromise. Get a amp and some great speakers witch adapts the days/Dolby Atmos platform. Just my opinion. Good luck!
