  • QuestionWondered about the refresh rate. Does this model come with 240 hz refresh rate?

    • Answer You are not going to get true 240 frames per second like on a 1080p/1440p gaming monitor. 4k @ 120 frames per second works great on PS5, very cool gaming experience. There are some motion smoothing settings that insert black frames (backlight strobing) or interpolated frames in between real frames that may work as fast as 240 separate images each second (incl the ones the tv creates, not from the original content). Sony isn’t super clear on exactly what the technology is doing behind these features. Keep in mind, your hdmi 2.1 connection can only handle 48 gbps. So 120 frames per second at 4k is the only information coming from your video source. If you need more frames per second and are willing to compromise on cinematic picture quality, there are monitors that will better suit your needs.

  • QuestionI am a little confused about something. Some LED televisions people say you do not have to worry about screen burn in. However, this is a mini- LED set I think. So if you leave the set on a long time to NEWS or Sports or Games do you get burn in?

  • QuestionWill the Sony Ultra Slim Wall-Mount Bracket Model: SU-WL855 work with a X95K or X93L 75" television?

    • Answer Hi 4kor8k, Thank you for inquiring about the TV. We're sorry, but the 75" X95K and 75" X93L are not compatible with our optional Wall-Mount Bracket (SU-WL855). The SU-WL855 is only compatible with 65" X95K and 65" X93L and select Sony OLED and LED models ranging from 48” class to 77” class. However, you can use any VESA compliant wall-mount with a screw hole pattern of 11.81 x 11.81 inch (300 x 300 mm). Please note that there is also a weight limit with any mount and the bracket that you'll be using needs to be able to support the TV weight. For the 75" X93L, it weighs approximately 94.1 lb (42.7 kg) without the stand. For product protection and safety reasons, please visit your local retailer to find a VESA compatible wall mount that meets the size of your TV, your wall or environmental requirements, and your stylistic preferences. Contact your local retailer or local custom installer to assist with the installation. Regards, Jess

    • Answer Hi Mstar, Thank you for your interest in the X93L. Aside from the model year, our X93L is equipped with a Game Menu where gamers can tailor their settings to their preferences. The Game Menu will have a couple features within itself like Variable Refresh Rate Toggle, Black Equalizer, Crosshair Overlay, Motion Blur Reduction, and Screen Resizing. Other features include the new Eco Dashboard which allows you to easily customize energy saving preferences and settings and new Remote with the BRAVIA Core and Crunchyroll shortcut buttons as well.
