Q: QuestionI had to return two of the 77" Bravia 8 OLEDs because the TV wouldn't turn on within a day of setting it up. In both cases, the TV wouldn't turn on unless it was unplugged and then plugged in, wait for about 45 seconds, then turn on.

Q: QuestionWhat size console TV stand would I need for this TV and sound bar.
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Thank you for contacting Sony. For the K-77XR80, which has an overall screen width of 67.5 inches, we recommend a media console or TV stand that is at least 70 to 75 inches wide. This ensures the television does not overhang the edges of the furniture. We appreciate your interest in Sony products. Q: QuestionWhat are the dimensions of the stand of the TV. In other words, how far apart are they?
Asked by Patty.
- A:Answer Hi Patty, The Sony K-77XR80 (BRAVIA 8) features a highly versatile four-way stand design, allowing you to adjust the footprint based on the width of your media furniture or the need to fit a soundbar underneath. Depending on how you choose to install the feet, there are two primary width settings for the stand. In the Outside position, where the feet are placed at the far edges of the panel, the distance between them is 49.65 inches (1,258 mm). If you have a narrower surface or a smaller cabinet, you can utilize the Inside position, which brings the distance between the feet down to 23.5 inches (596 mm). This flexibility ensures the television remains stable while accommodating a variety of home theater setups. Thank you for considering Sony! Regards, Dominick

Asked by Fishman.
- A:Answer Make sure you get a soundbar that can be connected via hdmi. I have a Sonos playbar which only connects via optical fiber, the remote will only control the volume through IR so you would need to turn off the Bluetooth capability of the remote.

Q: Questionwhat is the difference between LED and OLED? Which is better?
Asked by REEF.
- A:Answer Hi REEF, LED TVs use a backlight to create an image, while OLED pixels are "self-lit," meaning each one can turn itself completely off. This allows OLED to produce "true black," while LED can sometimes look a bit gray in dark scenes. The BRAVIA 8 OLED is generally considered better for movies and gaming because it offers perfect contrast, vibrant colors, and clear views from any seat in the room. Thanks for choosing Sony.
