A:AnswerI could be wrong, but I think the best way to "DVR" is using the service your cable company provides. I have Comcast as my provider. They offer a terrific service for recording programs. I think as many as three different programs as you watch a fourth. I could be wrong about that . It might be two programs while you watch a third. However, there is a downside. It seems to cost "only pennies a day," and that's true. But pennies a day add up to over a hundred bucks a year. I think they charge me $10 a month for the service. It's extensive., but expensive. I get over 100 hours in HD. I can save these programs, literally, for years. I make it a habit NEVER to watch commercials. I can watch sports in ridiculously short amounts of time using Fast Forward. Commercials are ruining all sports, as you know. There's also a slo-mo feature which comes in handy a lot.
Electronics stores like Best Buy also offer a DVR box, I think. I'd be surprised if it offers as many features as does what you can get from your cable company. The advantage of buying the DVR outright is you pay once and that's it, not like the cable company where you never stop paying. I HATE cable. They offer a lot, but they charge a lot, and if you're a TV lover like me, their services become addictive. The government needs to intervene. Cable companies often operate without competition. When they do operate with competitors in the same area, their prices come down and you can work deals. Like everything else these days, nothing is simple. Everyone is looking to lighten the load you keep in your wallet and checking account. I have found the people at Best Buy to be helpful. I've found they are not big fans of the cable companies either. Good luck. ,
A:AnswerHi Matt,
We apologize but this product does not have Dolby Atmos. You may want to check this model, UBP-X800, which has the feature you are looking for.

A:AnswerThis unit has no Bluetooth capabilities. It does have a wifi interface but it is used to connect to the internet in support of streaming services
A:AnswerHi, Jewelbug!
Unfortunately, the built-in internet browser is not an included app or program in this unit. We would recommend getting an internet streaming stick instead that is capable of accessing websites. -Sam
A:AnswerDO NOT BUY A SONY DVD PLAYER. IF YOU DID, RETURN IT AND BUY SOMETHING ELSE. IVE HAD 4 OF THEIR DVD PLAYERS AND THEY ALL LOCK UP AND FREEZE AND I HAVE TO UNPLUG THEM TO RESET THEM. EVEN THE $500 ONE I BOUGHT IS JUNK.

A:AnswerI can't really answer your question. However, I can tell you that I have had the 6700 and it is beginning to act up. Disc stuck in the player with player telling me that the HDMI is not connected. I upplugged machine for two minutes plugged back in and it worked. About sound I think you might be correct. The remote is not very efficient. What I believe is that it barely functions. I have Apple TV so don't use apps at all. Would I buy a sound system because sound is not correct. NO, I would take the machine back and ask why it doesn't raise the the sound level. Forget about Sony. It is Best Buy that can help you. By the way I hope you bought the 2 year protection plan because I doubt very much that any DVD or Blu Ray player will last two years. I will sum it up. If you had no problem with sound on your Seiki prior to buying 6700 then the problem lies with the remote or Blu Ray player and how it connects to your TV. I have a Samsung which is 11 years old. I found it easy to pair the Blu Ray player to the TV. However, when I click on the Audio nothing happens so I use my TV remote. Do you know that in Asia everything is paired and a person can use one remote and it controls everything. Be sure to buy the 2 year protection plan. Would I buy a sound system-no, not me. Mainly I use it with the sound of the TV or I have Stennheirser wireless headphones so I don't bother anyone. If you are able to adjust the sound with the Blu Ray remote then you are doing better than me.
