QuestionI have tried for hours to get the sound at connected to the sub woofer, and I have unplugged both, plugged subwoofer in first then sound bar did the manual link process and get a flashing error, I am ready to return this product any advice appreciated

- Answer Dawnie, Sony is going to tell you to update the firmware to the sound bar. As a former user of this soundbar, I will suggest simply returning it for something better. If your experience is anything like mine, the sub is working, it just does not make enough sound to be heard. it is not in the settings, it just is very quiet to non existent.

- Answer Hi MikeT, Thank you for your inquiry! Our HTG700 can connect to Bluetooth devices that support the following Bluetooth profiles: Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP) For audio and Audio/Video Remote Control Profile (AVRCP) allows remote control of media playback on other devices. Unfortunately, it doesn’t have WIFI options. I hope this helps! -Carl

- Answer Hi ACR55, Thank you for your inquiry! Yes, the HT-G700 will be a perfect pair for your X950H TV. We recommend using a High-Speed HDMI cable to connect your TV with your Soundbar. The HT-G700 features finely tuned sounds, combining to make a fully immersive surround sound experience. It does also have Immersive AE (Audio Enhancement) feature that can upscale even regular stereo audio to close to 7.1.2 surround sound so every TV show and movie gets the surround sound treatment. - Answer Hi JoyG, thank you for your question. You may need a longer cable if you want a wired connection. If you are planning to connect this unit to your TV via Bluetooth, you may need to check the TV if it supports the A2DP Bluetooth profile to make it work. ~Earl

QuestionI have been using the HTG700 for about a month and it is out of sync by about 1/2 second any recommendations? It is connected using the supplied cable to the existing earc on my XBR75X900E. Kind of disappointing, did I just get a bad one or can I adjust?

QuestionBought this and Intend to make it work before taking it back due to frustration. Does this bar work with a PROJECTOR that does NOT have ARC or EARC. YES OR NO. If so, How. What accessory is needed. And does using this accessory cancel out DOLBY ATMOS?!?

The connection method to output sound from the soundbar is by using HDMI ARC, HDMI and Optical Audio Cable, Optical Digital Audio Cable only and Analog Audio Cable only. Please check your Projector if these connections are applicable. - Answer No. You need a 5.1 receiver and 5 surround speakers for surround system. This sound bar cannot connect with anything, even adding a same brand equipment.

- Answer Hi DNew, we appreciate your interest in our soundbar. The NIGHT mode outputs the sound at low volume with minimum loss of fidelity and clarity of dialog when enabled. The dialog is easily heard by enhancing dialog range when the VOICE mode is enabled. Thank you. ~Earl

- Answer Hi Bob, thank you for your question. Yes, you may place the subwoofer on the side of the main unit. Please take note that placing anything at the rear of the main unit and subwoofer might block the ventilation holes and cause malfunctions. ~Earl
