Interesting comment. Well these headphones are pretty much just basic phones. The sound is decent, noise cancelling is OK, and build quality seems fine to me. The thing is that these are not fancy headphones! The serve a basic function and that's about it. If someone expects a stellar product, they need to spend a couple hundred (or thousand?) bucks. Considering everyone seems to go wireless, I'm surprised someone complained about the wires. As far as I can tell, the wiring and overall build is fine to me. Purchase price at the time was about $50.
