To transfer music content stored on a Mac computer, you need to install additional software. An example of additional software is Android File Transfer. You can use Music Center for PC to perform the following operations. • Importing music content from CDs to a computer. • Organizing and managing the content. - Answer Hi Cosimo, Thank you for your question! Yes, NW-A306 Walkman supports AVLS (Automatic Volume Limiter System) function reduces the risk of damage to ears from loud volumes. Using AVLS limits the maximum volume. This unit also supports Dynamic Normalizer. By activating the Dynamic Normalizer feature, you can reduce the volume level between tracks. With this setting, when listening to album songs in the shuffle play mode, the volume level between songs is moderated to minimize the difference in their recording levels. Yes, NW-A306 will play music stored on the 32 GB internal memory (actual available memory for other contents is 18 GB) in random order without repeating. When [Playback Mode] is selected and [Shuffle] with [Playback Range] is set to [All Range], your Walkman will play all of the songs in random order. When Playback Mode] is set to [Repeat off], all tracks are played in sequential order. Additional information: When (Shuffle) and (Repeat all) are lit up, “Music player” will play all tracks in the selected playback range randomly. To return to the normal playback mode, tap the icons so that both (Shuffle) and (Repeat) darken. You can also set the playback mode from the option menu. Tap the menu items in the following order.(Options) － [Settings]. Then, select the desired playback mode from [Shuffle] or [Repeat]. With NW-A306, you can enjoy a higher quality sound with various codecs and sound processing technology that give you more ways to enjoy your music. QuestionWill the music player app running on this device recognize and play all of the over 25000 songs I have stored on a 256GB SD Card? Most MP3 players databases only handle 15000 songs except in "Folder Mode" where playlists will not work with the overage.

- Answer Don't get the cheap plastic one, unless you take it running or something similar. For home use, you should go no cheaper than this NW-A306, especially, if you are used to using an iPod. The cheap one will seem like a kid's toy. The more expensive, the higher the quality, but the average MP3 buyer doesn't have or won't spend the amount for the players more expensive than this one.

QuestionHow is the battery on this newer model? I know with the past models, the battery was somewhat of an issue, with how many hours of play back you could get. The battery not lasting as long as advertised. I am curious to see if Sony has corrected this.

- Answer The battery life is comparable to my apple watch SE. It all depends on time in use, screen brightness, and the quality of audi played. Mine gets charges every night.

- Answer Yes, absolutely! And it does a great job doing so. The one caveat is to make sure your receiving device can accept the appropriate signal and play the content. As not all headphones and speakers are built to play Dolby Atmos and 360 content. If you're shopping for those items, look towards Sony products. I use the Sony wh- 1000 xm5.
