Questionthis is an add-on to the ps4 and this VR costs more than the basic ps4 it self?? so if I had no ps4 and wanted this, i would need to pay over $1,000.00 for this setup - ps4, VR headset, 1 controller, camera, 2move controllers (1game w/bundle) no games :(

- Answer YES, That cost is in my estimation, after the same comparison that you can do, less than the cost of the other two complete VR bundles which can be partially justified if you need a new computer to begin with but game selection is what won me over and I purchased the pro version of the PS4.

- Answer The camera is needed to track your movement and where your head is in order to project the screen in the right direction. It's what allows you to say lay down (if you can manage it) and look at the ceiling and still view a perfect cinema mode instead of having to always face forward.

QuestionDoes anybody think this thing is hyped and will be much like when the Wii came out (before xbox kinect and PS move), well received then when everybody got past its motion controllers they realized just how sh*tty the games graphics really were?

- Answer Nope this isn't a fad. This technology is already used by NASA and a number of other agencies for training. True, this is the beginning of mass marketing and development of the technology...but I can tell you that while HTC and Oculus are considered cutting edge, this particular little item absolutely holds it's own and then some. I'm not a console gamer, I prefer PC, BUT VR is not like watching something, it is experiencing something, and that can't be replicated anywhere. The opportunities for content development are endless with this. BTW, the graphics are quite good. It's worth trying one somewhere.

QuestionWill there be any safe guards in the Device/PS4 and or in games that will prevent Prolonged use of the VR Headset ? What was there testing structure to determine safe usability of the Device ?

- Answer As far as i have seen and read there is no current safeguard for prolong use. Personally i dont see sony adding any for a few reasons. One, it helps limit liability to sony and two, adding a safeguard such as an auto shutdown after so many hours of usage is going to hurt sales seeing as how most consumers prefer to have full function and control of such an expensive device. For me personally anything over a hour of use and i start to feel sick.

- Answer The device itself is tethered by a dual cable that is around 10-12 feet long. Something like that. But it is definitely not wireless.
