We can definitely see how this would be frustrating for you. We appreciate the steps you've gone through to isolate the issue. There are few things that you can check moreover. If you haven't yet, you may find this operating instruction helpful on how to properly setup the subwoofer to your soundbar. Questionlooking to buy 7000 soundbar with wireless sub and wireless rear speakers. the sasw3 will just fit in front of room close to TV and the sasw5 will need to be in rear of room behind seating. 17 by 12.5 ft room. which wireless sub am I better off with?

- Answer Get the SW5 if you can. Sub placement does not effect sound quality or how the system generates the sound. You can plays the sub anywhere according to the official manual.

QuestionI recently purchased the SA-SW5 subwoofer and Bravia Theatre Bar 9 to connect with my Sony Class Bravia 8 OLED TV. But the subwoofer is not getting connected to the soundbar and wondering if it's actually compatible.

- Answer Hi Sally - I literally posted the same question less than a week ago, but it was deleted by either Best Buy or Sony Support. I had the same problem and tried to work it out with a support technician both on line chat and on the phone. They had me repeat the manual connection steps, which didn't work at all. The subwoofer was literally next to the BRAVIA Theater Bar 8 (Model:HTA8000), but nothing. We even tried disconnecting the TV, Sound bar and the subwoofer as a kind of reset. That didn't work either. Then the support person suggested that a technician come out to try it and I was excited about that, until she told me that I'd have to pay $100 extra. No thanks. I returned the product later that same day.

QuestionMy Sony SA-SW5 arrived today and I cannot get it to sync with my Sony - BRAVIA Theater Bar 8 (Model:HTA8000), which I received on 8/24/2024. I have read the instructions multiple times, have gone through the trouble shooting steps, but it's not syncing.

- Answer I am the original poster and non of their recommendations have worked. The product is not reliable and possibly defective at numerous levels.
