- Answer Generally speaking, things will mastered at different levels. My UHD blu rays are always louder than streaming. Try night mode or pushing up DB or add treble on your center channel

QuestionCurrently I have 5 8 ohm speakers 2 6 ohm speakers. From what I read online this receiver may not be able to pull that power but will it over load this receiver? If not what should be my configuration of Speakers?

- Answer Hi Jay, When matching speakers and Audio/Video (A/V) receivers, the ohm rating of the speaker should be equal to or greater than the ohm rating of the receiver to avoid a risk of hardware damage. Any speakers that feature bare wire connection will work to this receiver, as long as their impedances are from 6 to 16 ohms. QuestionUnfortunately Best buy, does NOT do a very good job of listing all the available specifications for every item they sell. Frequently have to check manufactures website's for details. Is there a Sony receiver\Amp with Wi-Fi sold by Best buy?

Questionrecently upgraded from the 520 to 790, few things like know, A. I have 2 subs connected however on the calibration test it emits sound only from 1 sub not the 2nd. B. for D.Vision to work I presume does need a supported TV - 4K fire has this?

- Answer Hi bob74, We're sorry to hear that. Make sure that subwoofer cable is properly connected and if possible replace it with a new one. Speaker wires that are anywhere between 12 to 16 gauge are most commonly used for connecting speakers to an amplifier or an Audio/Video (A/V) receiver. Yes, you need Dolby vision compatible television to output Dolby vision content. Regards, David

- Answer Hi Customer, Thank you for the inquiry! All of our Sony AV receivers don't have a speakers included. You can create a robust 5.1.2 home theater setup perfect for Dolby Atmos with the complete range of CS speakers from Sony with 2 SSCS5 bookshelf speakers, 1 SSCS8 center channel speaker, 2 SSCS3 tower speakers, 2 SSCSE Dolby Atmos enabled speakers, and the SACS9 subwoofer. If you want a third party speakers, any speakers that feature bare wire connection will work to this receiver, as long as their impedances are from 6 to 16 ohms. Regards, David

- Answer Yes, their is a pairing mode that you can hook a phone to the receiver. I have not paired other wireless speakers to the receiver yet as I don’t have any at the moment.

- Answer Hi Peter, With 6 ohm loads, both channels driven, from 20 Hz – 20,000 Hz; rated 90 watts per channel minimum RMS power at stereo mode, with no more than 0.09% total harmonic distortion from 250 milliwatts to rated output. - Answer This is a Bluetooth receiver which means it can only take in Bluetooth signals from your phone or tablet. This would require an additional transmitter that would use the headphones outlet as the source.
