- Answer Hi Fred, This AV Receiver supports Bluetooth A2DP 1.2 and AVRCP 1.6. If your unit support both Bluetooth profile it should work. Also, this receiver has a headphones jack and you can directly connect your unit to it. Regards, David

QuestionBuilding an audio system. I have a Marantz CD6007 CD player & Q Acoustics 3030c speakers. Will they work well with the STRDH790? I also use QED speaker cable with banana connectors. Do they plug into the receiver? Thanks in advance for your answers.

QuestionI want to connect both my powered subs but both have an L and R input. So this amp has 2 sub RCA outs but my powered subs have 4 RCA inputs (L+R and L+R). Do I need to use RCA splitters to connect? Thanks.

- Answer You can connect thru Bluetooth with your phone and then choose on remote the playback type. Rear only doesn't seem to be an option.

QuestionSONY I purchased this 7.2 receiver under a year ago. It turns off continually with the word protect on the display before doing so. If you read the Bestbuy reviews this is a Very common problem with this model! What do you suggest? Its connected properly

QuestionMy Sony STR-DH790 AV Receiver goes into Protect mode after less than a minute of playback. It's about one year old and only moderately used. I have tried rewiring all speakers. It is on an open table top and not overheating. Still dumps to Protect.
