Q: QuestionI have a TV that supports HDR, but not the HDR10 spec. Would this player do HDR? I have seen HDR on the display from other sources and it's great, but an Xbox One S refuses HDR due to the TV being out of spec.

Q: QuestionI tried playing the Transformers 4K UHD disc on this player but it was not able to recognize the disc and play it. I played the same disc on my Xbox One S and it played fine. I have applied the updated firmware to the player as well. Anybody w/ same prob?

• A:Answer Yes, you can still watch DVDs, Blu-Rays without a WiFi connection. That is if you are actually putting a disk in the tray. If you want to stream a movie you will need to be hard wired or use WiFi.

• A:Answer No, this is a component for a system, not a system by itself. Output connections are HDMI 1, HDMI 2 or Coaxial digital. Sound can also be piped out via Bluetooth wireless. This is not a playback receiver and has no internal amplification or speaker outputs. Please check the description on Sony's website for further details.
