QuestionCan u use these speakers with the ht-x900f soundbar? Think about upgrade soundbar from hct790 soundbar . But only if I can still use my speakers

- Answer It depends on your sound source, not the speaker/sound bar. If your sound source(Amplifier/Receiver) comes with the Bluetooth ver. 4.2, you should be able to use one pair of these speakers.

QuestionI have a Samsung TV connected to a Sony HT-CT800 soundbar, via ARC HDMI, Also have two Sony SRS-ZR5 rear speakers. Is there any way to have the TV sound on the soundbar and the two rear speakers at the same time.

- Answer The rear speakers must be connected to the soundbar. If the soundbar does not support additional speaker connections, it will not be possible to have audio on all speakers at the same time. A receiver may be needed.

- Answer I have my rlear speakers connected via blue tooth (sony soundbar settings to receive). Paired speakers with soundbar. I have soundbar connected to tv via hdmi arc connection (tv hdmi3). Haven't tried connecting rear speakers on home network. Works great. Without knowing more about your configuration, don't know.

QuestionIs this speaker rechargeable? If so, how long does the battery last? And how long does it take to charge? The details in the specifications say "rechargeable - AC". I don't know if that means it charges using AC or it isn't rechargeable and only uses AC.

- Answer Hi k541, If you're referring to using it as wireless surround speakers, the soundbar doesn't support the Wireless Surround function. - Answer They can be synced to your tv by Network or HDMI, but work best as rear surrounds with one of the supported sound bars, like the HTNT5.

QuestionIf my audio source does not have 5.1 sound, how will the soundbar + a pair of ZR5's handle it? For example, watching a Youtube video, will the ZR5's be completely quiet or will the soundbar produce a virtual 5.1 sound?

QuestionI have been unsuccessful in getting the SRS-ZR5's to connect via Bluetooth to my HT-CT800 soundbar. I am using the Bluetooth pairing option on the soundbar. Seems to connect but no sound at all, even with a high action movie playing. Need some help!

- Answer Yes. It will function like any other Blutooth remote speaker. The "Music Center / SongPal" app is used on your device to setup and configure. I have two SRS-ZR5 speakers and use them mostly as Surround Speakers for a Sony HT-CT790 Sound Bar System on my 75in.Sony 4K.

QuestionHi I bought the srs zr5 speakers to work as surround sound to sound bar HTNT5 with xbr 65 900 it worked great ,once I sure off tv & restart it will work for 15 min & disconnect any idea how to fix that?

- Answer Do you have the Sony Music Center app downloaded on a phone or device? Mine did the same thing in the beginning and once I downloaded the app I realized that I needed to update the speakers. It was difficult to get them to connect but once they did I haven't had any problems!
