- Answer The Life Tune XR is the same as the Q30. There are a few cosmetic differences, but they are essentially the same headset. There's a reddit thread that answers this question in more depth if you want more info.

QuestionCan I turn off the active noise canceling? I want to use them while walking down the street but I also want to hear what's going on around me in case I need to move or something.

- Answer Yes. There are technically three modes: active noise cancelling (which blocks outside sounds), standard mode (which doesn't block or enhance sounds, this is like regular non ANC headphones, and pass through/ambient mode (which uses the built in microphones to pass outside sounds through the headphones so you can hear things around you. The last option is probably what you're looking for while walking down the street so you can hear your surroundings.

QuestionHi there. Do these have the capability to connect wired to a laptop and use the microphone? It looks like the Q35 may be able to do that but not the Q30. I need that capability because I cannot use Bluetooth at work.
