Q: Questiondoes it need a drain?some ice makers need a drain this one has a hose hook up so I wondered.

• A:Answer I does not require a drain. There's a plug in the bottom that you could drain it with when defrosting. I normally just unplug and move it to the garage and let it drain/defrost there.

• A:Answer Cloudy ice is not fault of ice maker. Cloudy ice comes from supply. I use reverse osmosis system and have clear ice cubes. Hopes this helps
