Q: QuestionDoes it store bottled beer and if so how many?

• A:Answer It will hold more, but I put in four six packs, two per shelf. The main reason is air circulation from the top mounted fan. A FYI, I keep my six packs in the six pack cardboard container which lets you pull out a pack and select, much easier than messing with the shelves.

Q: QuestionHow many bottles can it hold and they are 750 ml? In addition, the temperature doesn't go any higher such as 45 -55 degrees? Thanks

• A:Answer The key response is beer froster. The older model I have goes to 24 degrees. Most beer will freeze around 25. I have mine set at 26. This product is about cold. As to bottle size, you could remove a shelf, maybe two and fit 750 mil bottles, but I cannot think of a beer or cooler that size.

• A:Answer Yes, however you must select either on or off from the outside control switch. Not door operated. I do not mess with mine.

• A:Answer China where else these days? I do not know of another brand this size and will go to 24 degrees. The main consideration is this unit has the old time workhorse for cooling - a compressor. I have the previous edition with manual defrosting for about three years now. I love it and would buy again of course this unit with self defrosting.

Q: QuestionCan it be used as an outdoor refrigerator in Southern California

• A:Answer i'm in So. Cal in the desert and mine is under my countertop and under a patio cover. it is great. holds bottled beer at 24 degrees if I put cans in at that temp they freeze. I prefer beer in a bottle so no problems there. the only issue I have is if I overfill it and the air can't circulate the coils in the back freeze up. When this happens i turn it off and let it defrost for a day. the best addition to our pool and backyard ever.

• A:Answer Per a previous post under another question, 24 degrees F. My experience stuff freezes which with beer is not good. I settled on 27 and really you can't tell much difference between 24 and 27. It's very cold and very good!
