Cameras are on 24=7. Cameras are fixed and don't move. But you can load app to you phone and watch from your phone...Depending on your phone. I have I Phone and the quality is GREAT ! you can view all 4 cameras or one at a time...

Please try again later.This camera system as a downloadable app for Android and iPhone you can also view video feed from a PC it doesn't take much to set the system up I had mine up and running in less than a half hour. It took longer to wire up the cameras related to set up the NVR system.

Please try again later.Her home would need to have a wired (Ethernet) internet connection available to connect the Swann DVR to the Internet, and you would need the SwannView app on your smartphone if you want to be able check on her while out and about. If you need five cameras, get a four camera package and buy an extra camera of the same type. Installation is not trivial for this or any wired security system, so be aware of that before you buy one.
