Yes, they are all T 855 cameras that are 1080p, same as the swan 16 channel with 12 cameras, the cameras are made better than the ones that come with the swan 4 channel system. I purchased all of these systems and found the 8 channel met my needs better and it was over kill to use the 16 cam since i have a small house and only needed cameras outside only and the 4 channel cameras were made cheap, very light and no gasket seals where the camera is mounted.

All cameras can provide 1080 resolution.

All 8 cameras are 1080p on this kit SWDVK-845008. I beleive the confusion is because of an old sku SWDVK-845008P which had 4 720p and 4 1080p. However that kit has been discontinued for over 6 months now. http://www.swann.com/us/swdvk-1644162
