• Has Motion Detection select by area -- you can choose areas of view not sensitive motion, like a tree in the view field that is always moving in the wind. You can set sensitivity as well, but do not expect miracles. bugs and spider webs coming close to the camera lens will set it off. Condition vary when it comes to rain, wind, trees and anything within the Motion arena.

• yes it recordes all the time. also when there is motion detected it shows a red flag on the camera that detected it
