- Answer Hi Rod. Battery life varies depending on activity. With typical use (around 20 motion clips per day), the batteries can last 1–2 months between charges. Heavy activity or frequent live viewing will reduce battery life. The built-in solar panel helps keep the batteries topped up, extending the time between manual charges.
