- Answer I think you still pay for guide info on the old ones. But the guide is free on the model 4s. But if you can get lifetime guide info on the older models then you might want to because I have had two model 4s die on me and they ignored my claim for warranty! I would look for something else. HDHomeRun looks good to me.

- Answer I only had a Tablo 4 about two years. It is not good. It died on me a few months in and I couldn’t get it warranted because they didn’t respond to the form I filled out on their website! There’s places that can help you with that like Reddit. I think some people bought Tablo and are failing to run it right.

- Answer You can reposition your antenna and re-scan, but you are limited based on your location, the antenna and the installation (height, etc). Go to RabbitEars.info for more information. the orientation of your antenna is critical. It matters where you point it.

- Answer The 2 tuner version only has 2 tuners whereas the 4 tuner version has 4 tuners. This means that with the 4 tuner version you can record 4 different things at the same time or record 3 things while you watch another channel.

- Answer Tablo connects directly to your antenna and to tvs via WiFi. Mine connect to all TVs via Fire TV devices. I know there issues with Apple TV and I think they workrd out issues with Vizio & Roku. My LG Oled is also connected directly.

- Answer After you install the Tablo app on your Fire sticks, each TV then connects wirelessly to the Tablo... no matter what room it is in. Tablo records all your antenna channels, even multiple shows at the same time. So yes, it can replace your recast.
