A:AnswerI just received it, and I realize tamron 18-400 doesn't fit my 7D. The fit is definitely different, although close in size. I know there is a reviewer who claims they fit, but that's incorrect.
A:AnswerIt should, bought this lens for my Canon SL1. Now I don’t have to carry a whole slew of lenses, just as long as you now about compromises when you by a super zooming lens. But as long as you don’t print enlarged photos you should be alright otherwise you may need a photo correcting program to touch up the details. Make sure you by a lens for Canon also.

it will not work with the 6D as this is a Full Frame sensor body.... But it will work with your 50D as it is a APC-C format frame sensor body.
