• I worked in Industry for 20+ Years supporting large networks, and most laptops I have worked on, and I have worked with several different brands, and many models, have it on the right side about a inch from the back. Look on the left at the back also, just in case it is an oddball like me. It should be a tiny rectangular shaped typically horizontal hole/slot.

• The slot is usually on the left or right side near the hinge and is an oblong rectangular slot. This lock works in most any of these brands as it is a universal lock slot not brand specific.
