• You will need to use an adaptor for this if you want to use it on a non tesla. You would need a Tesla to J1772 adaptor. Tesla now makes a charger that works on non Tesla cars. It is the Tesla J1772 and as of January 8th the cost is $525 and it black. If you want this to work on a Tesla then you would need to purchase a J1772 to TESLA adaptor.

• You need the appropriate adapter but, yes. I’m using mine with a Tesla Tap J1772 adapter to charge a Hyundai PHEV until I can replace it with a Model Y.
