A:Answer Hi Alex! The OBD2 power cable will yield the same result as the hardwiring cable (activate parking mode) but on an easier setup. Unlike the hardwiring cable, it won't require any connection to the car's fuse box. Simply plug it into the vehicle's OBD port and that's it. This works for all our dash cam models including the F200PRO.
Just make sure that your vehicle is compatible with the OBD2 cable (not compatible with hybrid, electric, and vehicles with active stop and start system)
