“What type file are Tivo recordings? And, can some programs be set to record to a USB stick?”

• I have no idea what type of file the TiVo uses. As far as USB ports, the TiVo has two. The top Port is for users that might need a tuning adapter.there is no apparent use for the second Port but it could possibly be for some future use. I did get its information by googling it online.
