No. You can only record OTA content.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.TIVO units can record OTA programs or cable programs when you get a cable card from the cable provider - but not both. Determine which type of programming you wish to record and call TIVO customer service for assistance or see a Best Buy sales rep. TIVO devices are not designed to record programs from a FireTV or any other streaming device. Streaming services are either on demand so there is no need to record the programs or live streaming services which generally have a DVR included with the package. You can easily switch between your TIVO and a FireTV because each units output goe to a different HDMI input on your TV. Some TVs have 2 HDMI inputs but most I have seen have 3 HDMI inputs.
