• For work, I use a MacBook Pro, and the product works really well. I simply plug the hard drive into my computer, and it immediately begins to back my computer up. It's easy to access files on the hard drive, too.

• IF you format the external drive for FAT32, BEFORE you save anything to it, THEN it can be used on Macs! That is what the sales reps at Fry's told me, and exactly what I did!

• It works pretty well with my Mac. It's like any other usb device with write of about 300-400 Mbps. It even supports Time Capsule for Mac OS but I haven't tried it.

• It works very well with Mac because it features an NTFS driver for Mac®. However, you must reformat the drive to HFS+ in order to use it with Time Machine® software.
