A:Answer You need to try to "map" your lights in the app. That's about the only way you can achieve the desired effect. Also, it's important to figure out which bundle of the 600, so 300 bundle, is wired to be the top set (put on second). You can do this by putting the lights on the snow setting in the app. The bundle of 300 that lights up first is the upper set, and as the snow "falls" the light transitions to the lower set. I don't map my outdoor trees because it's a pain, so I just make sure that I get the top and bottom figured out before stringing the lights on the tree. I start with the "lower" set of 300 and the string the "upper" set of 300.
