• A:Answer Hi - The VTech CM18045 expansion handset does not have a setting to block incoming calls. Instead, you can set the ring group on the CM18445 to specify which extensions ring and display the caller ID information when there is incoming call on a certain telephone line. please contact our Consumer Sales and Service Center between the hours of 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM Monday through Friday at 1-800-595-9511 for assistance. Q: Questionhave a CM18445 and 7 desk sets does the small hand-set have a greater distance ? the desk-set CM18245 works on occasion or is there a booster ?

• A:Answer Robert - The FLASH softkey on the VTech CM18045 can be used to answer call waiting call. Regretfully, the hold music will not play when the current call is put on hold to answer the call waiting call. The hold music on the telephone system will only work on calls that is put on hold by pressing the HOLD button. Thank you, -VTech Support

Q: QuestionWhen using the CM18045 handset and not base unit how do I use the FLASH function to transfer between incoming calls? When speaking with one party and another calls in how do I put first caller on hold and answer second caller then switch back. Thanks

Q: QuestionWill the CM18045 show an indicator light (on the handset) when a line is in use by the CM18445 (main console)? If not, how does the person using the CM18045 (handset) know when a line is in use?
