- Answer Hi - The VTech CM18045 expansion handset does not have a setting to block incoming calls. Instead, you can set the ring group on the CM18445 to specify which extensions ring and display the caller ID information when there is incoming call on a certain telephone line. please contact our Consumer Sales and Service Center between the hours of 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM Monday through Friday at 1-800-595-9511 for assistance. - Answer Henry - The VTech CM18445 and the expansion units model CM18045 and CM18245 does not have an available range booster. - Answer Robert - The FLASH softkey on the VTech CM18045 can be used to answer call waiting call. Regretfully, the hold music will not play when the current call is put on hold to answer the call waiting call. The hold music on the telephone system will only work on calls that is put on hold by pressing the HOLD button. Thank you, -VTech Support

The phone system has an Auto Attendant feature that will direct your callers to select an extension unit. If the call is unanswered or if the unit is in use, mailbox of the destination extension will pick up the call to record a message. - Answer Hi - Here's the instructions on how to transfer a call from the CM18045 to another system extension phone. Step 1: Press Menu/Select button during a call.
