A:AnswerNo you do not. I have had a unit like this for the past 8 years. When you link you cell phone to this unit, it will ring in all 3 areas you have them placed. You no longer have to run to the room where you left your cell phone (if you even remember!) You then can pick it up and talk from that unit. Plain and simple
