QuestionDoes SKI6342873 have a Do Not Disturb button on BOTH the base unit and the wireless unit? Does SK16342873 allow the user to press (activate) the Do Not Disturb Button FROM THE WIRELESS UNIT as well as the base unit?

- Answer Fred - The VTech DS6251-2 does not have a do not disturb button. However, you can still silence all incoming ringing tone (except paging) at a period of time (1-12 hours) by activating the quiet mode feature. Thank you, -VTech Support

QuestionI purchased one of these phones today at office depot and I wanted to mount it to the wall with a phone bracket jack already on the wall but I don't know how to mount the phone with the bracket that came with the unit. Can you give me advise.

- Answer Hi - The telephone base of the VTech DS6251-2 has a built in wall mount bracket that you need to rotate. Make sure that the bracket clicks into place. QuestionI currently have a CS5129 base unit which nicely { 7.5" tall on slight angle} fits under a kitchen upper cabinet when hooked on the wall hook/2 clip unit from its existing 1972 phone line company installation. So will the DS6251-2 DECT 6.0 Fit? Zeke

QuestionI have a DS6251-2 system. My second line is not working properly. It rings and line 2 lights up but when I answer I can’t hear the person and they can’t hear me. There is also no dial tone and I can’t make calls out from line 2.

- Answer Lynn - We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with the VTech DS6251-2. You may need to reset the system by disconnecting the AC power on the telephone base and batteries on the cordless handsets. Wait for 1 minute before reconnecting the AC power and batteries, then test the unit again.
