- Answer yep, I've used this drive on Ubuntu 19.04 with no issues. Inside is a normal SATA HDD so all the drives functionality is there.

- Answer No, it is not automatically backed up to any cloud service. If you would like that capability your would have to sign on to a cloud service like MS "One Drive." If you want to have the files you send to the this device also sent to One Drive (or some other service), you can join this drive with a cloud "drive" using a "Mirror" configuration. Search for "Windows Mirror" for info on how to do that.

- Answer In my experience consumer routers are hit or Miss with their ability to host storage. I would Find another way. Not sure about geek squad services.

- Answer It depends really on the type of computer game and the performance you desire. You would be Better off performance wise if you installed the computer game on your pro 6 hard drive, and moved files onto the external drive (photos/docs/ect.) The speed of these drives is not near what the solid state drive can achieve on the pro 6, so if it's an intensive game performance could be really bad if installed externally. So the other guy/gal is right, but just because you CAN do something, doesn't mean you SHOULD, or even that it's Recommended.
