QuestionIs this usable on the PS4 to save games without much latency when playing? I'm looking to expand storage and I feel like a 2 TB "licensed" drive might not be worth the money a 4 TB non-licensed drive is.

- Answer In theory, this "could" be used as a NAS drive, but the constant read/write needed for NAS would wear on this hardware. However, using its USB 3.0 capability and connecting to a NAS (such as the WD MyCoud EX2) would be great for an extension of the drive; even better, as a backup device for your NAS!

- Answer It can be but from what I've read and learned it isn't recommended. It draws power from the device its connected to and that tends to make the drives more sensitive to usage. I'd recommend a powered drive if you need it on 24/7

- Answer This drive will work with any PC that has a USB connector. The Easystore is a small form factor drive that is powered from the USB connection. The My Book is a larger form factor drive that has an external power connector. So which one you might want depends on how you are going to use the drive and the availability of an external power plug.

- Answer It depends. Usually video game systems require a different type of formatting. I would suggest trying one ps4 and see. You don’t want to risk losing save data or games.

- Answer Go to finder, Applications> Disk Utilities > theres an "Erase" Tab, select the correct disk type you would like. Should be good to go after.

- Answer I would get the biggest drive you can afford. The prices per terabyte are really cheap. I have the 4 tb drive. That will allow you save everything then expand your library.
